After three incredible sold-out Induction Ceremonies the The San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame is seeking FOUNDING SUPPORTERS to help take us to the next level.
My wife and I have financed the SDSHOF since it’s inception as a labor of love simply because we know how much it means to the surfing community. Our next ambitious goals are to create the San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame (we are seeking a physical space to make the Hall of Fame tangible. If you ever visited our Misfit Art Gallery in La Jolla, something very similar to that) and a San Diego Surfing Walk of Fame (we have one of the most iconic surf shops in San Diego interested in joining this project and providing the space) as well as our annual San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. But we need your help to achieve this.
In addition to our goals, big realities are happening in unison. We are assembling an amazing Board of Directors, completing our non-profit status for long term corporate donations and San Diego Surfing Hall of Famer Joe Roper has come aboard to create the most amazing trophies for all our our inductees. And of course, Hank Warner will continue his wonderful job as master of ceremonies. Thank you Joe and Hank!
Supporting our SDSHOF fundraiser is the equivalent to paying for the next three induction ceremonies but you become a FOUNDING SUPPORTER for life and you help a lot of dreams come true. If you have ever been to one of the events you know there is rarely a dry eye in the audience. It is truly a magical experience and that is the impetus for us to achieve the next level to honor our remaining surfing legends.
