As an annual Olympic-style event for amateur athletes across California, the California State Games provides a valuable platform for young surfers to showcase their skills in a spirit of friendly, focused competition.
This event at San Diego’s iconic Ocean Beach offers a significant opportunity for the next generation of surfers to experience structured competition. Divisions are set for both shortboard and longboard, catering to both boys and girls across various age groups:
Top performers will be recognized with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for the top three finishers in each event, acknowledging their dedication and performance.
