Gromfest is more than just a surf contest; it’s a vibrant celebration designed to provide a supportive and exciting environment for our youngest surfers (age 16 or younger, residing in Ocean Beach, Point Loma, or SCSA members). This year, the excitement is amplified as Gromfest is combined with the OBTC Crafts Fair, offering something for everyone to enjoy on the sand!

Beyond the waves, this cherished event fosters environmental stewardship through a dedicated beach cleanup, and provides valuable volunteer opportunities for our members to help make this impactful day a reality.

Proceeds from the event directly benefit incredible causes, including the Mouse Scholarship, the Point Loma High School Surf Team, Big Worm’s Cystic Fibrosis, and other vital local organizations.
