The San Diego Surfing Hall of Fame is proud to highlight VetSurf®, a profound program presented in partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This impactful event offers five days of Learn to Surf Clinics for disabled Veterans from around the country, designed to further the mission to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER™) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and competition. The focus remains on their abilities, not their disabilities, celebrating the healing power of the ocean.
Veterans are invited to participate by signing up directly through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
These clinics are made possible only with the generous support of dedicated volunteers. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to help us share the healing power of the ocean and adaptive surfing with participants. Volunteering is a deeply rewarding experience, and your help is crucial for adequately staffing this important event.
